The future and the new health initiative of our country are going to be educating the youth to eat well and control their diets. High levels of sugar and white carbohydrates cause obesity and may lead into type 2 Diabetes. To keep our bodies strong, healthy and looking good, it important to
be pro-active.  

To understand Diabetes, it is important to first understand the normal process by which food is broken down and used by the body for energy. Several things happen when food is digested:
1.     A sugar called glucose enters the bloodstream. Glucose is a source of fuel for the body.
2.     An organ called the pancreas makes insulin. The role of insulin is to move glucose from the bloodstream into muscle, fat, and liver cells, were it can be used as fuel.

People who do not watch their diet can begin to see signs of Diabetes, where buy their pancreas does not make enough insulin to respond to all of the glucose in their bodies. Studies have shown that better control of blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure levels in persons prone to this disease will help reduce the risk of adverse reactions. Bad nutrition will lead to obesity and out of shape bodies, allowing many bad diseases to overwhelm our society and health care system.
