Vitamin D

I would like to discuss a Vitamin that has had little exposure to the Health Market. It is Vitamin D3, a group of fat-soluble secosteroids. In humans, vitamin D3 is unique both because of its functions as a prohormone and because the body can synthesize it when sun exposure is adequate.

In recent times there has been a surge of interest in the medical research community concerning Vitamin D3, some doctors have been quoted as saying “Your’re more likely to live longer and your’re less likely to die of serious chronic disease if you have adequate vitamin D on board. It may well be the most important nutrient of the decade and will compliment any bodybuilders workouts.

People living in northern climates that are cold and /or rainy have limited opportunities to obtain Vitamin D from sunlight. That’s way we recommend that these individuals in particular take high-quality Vitamin D Supplements in order to prevent Vitamin D Deficiency.

It is important for bodybuilders to maintain skeletal calcium balance by promoting calcium absorption in the intestines, promoting bone absorption by increasing the olteoclast number, maintaining calcium and phosphate levels for bone formation, and allowing proper functioning and possible help in lowering the risk of bone loss (osteoporosis) or bone fracture because of a lack of vitamin D. Bodybuilding does take a toll on the body and its bone structure.

We hope this article can be helpful to you and we suggest consulting your medical profession before starting any regimen.
